What happens to the details you send us.

NVK Air is a trading name of NVK Facilities Group Ltd, company number 16412076, registered office Dunleavy House, Dunleavy Drive, Cardiff, CF11 0SN. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

Only what you choose to send us:

• Your name, phone number and email address, when you ask for a call back, book a service or send a message.
• Anything you write in the message box, and the answers you give in the instant estimate (the room, its size, the floor and any extras), so we can call you back already knowing the job.
• If you arrived by clicking one of our Google adverts, the click reference Google adds to the web address (gclid). It identifies the advert click, not you, and lets us see which adverts led to an enquiry.
• Your number, if you phone us or message us on WhatsApp.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to give you a price, to arrange a survey, an installation or a service, and to keep a record of the work. The legal basis is that you have asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and once work is agreed, the contract itself.

We do not sell your details, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to.

A few companies process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

• Formspree receives the forms on this website and forwards them to our inbox. Formspree is based in the United States, so your form details are transferred there. Formspree says this transfer is needed to provide its service under its contract with us, and that it takes steps to keep the data protected.
• Vercel hosts this website and, like any web host, sees the technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries the conversation if you choose to message us there, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• Open-Meteo supplies the outdoor temperature shown on the homepage. Your browser asks it for London’s weather, so it sees your IP address. It is not told who you are or where you are.

This website sets no cookies. To count visits we use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not store anything in your browser. It records the page, the referring site, the country, and the type of device and browser, and recognises a visit by a scrambled code made from the request that is thrown away after 24 hours. We also count, without any personal details, when someone taps a call or WhatsApp button or sends a form.

If you close the offer bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that for the current visit only, so it does not keep reappearing. That is kept in your browser, never sent to us, and is gone when you close the tab.

An enquiry that does not lead to work is deleted after 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep your details and the job record for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records, which in the UK is at least six years, and for as long as your warranty runs.

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop or limit using it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Call or email us using the details at the top of this page. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
