The Samsung Cebu S2 is a wall mounted air conditioner that heats as well as cools, supplied and installed across London by NVK Air from £1,995 fully installed. That one price covers the unit, the installation and the electrical work, agreed in writing after a free survey and before any work starts. Is the Cebu S2 the right one for your room?
Who it suits
A first room, or a whole house on a budget. It runs 2.5 to 6.5kW, so one range covers a box room and a knocked through ground floor. Wi-Fi is in the box, not an upgrade.
What it will not do
It is the entry range. Cooled air is blown into the room in the normal way rather than dispersed through a perforated panel, so it can be felt as a draught. Quietest setting is 19dB(A) at 2.5 and 3.5kW, and 25dB(A) at 5.0 and 6.5kW. The indoor unit grows from 820mm wide to 1055mm at 5.0kW and above.
In London homes
The one to fit when the room needs cooling and the budget decides the rest. At 2.5kW it is 300 pounds under the Samsung above it and 200 pounds under the Comfora.
Against the other ranges
The cheapest range we fit at every size it makes. Against the Samsung above it, it gives up the perforated panel and 3dB(A) at the quiet end, and reaches 6.5kW where that one stops at 3.5kW.

- Up to 3m of pipework
- External trunking, the cover that hides the pipework outside
- Bracket or feet for the outdoor unit
- A gravity drain, so the water runs away without a pump
- Electrical connection by a qualified electrician
- A fused spur on 2.5 and 3.5kW, or its own circuit from your fuse board on 5.0kW and up
- Commissioning, and a handover pack you keep
